Q - What is your role within Emerald Waterways?
A - I’m trade marketing executive, working with our fabulous regional sales managers and lovely agents across the UK to get the word out about Emerald Waterways.
Q - Why do you love working for Emerald Waterways?
A - Every day is different! Speaking to customers at our info sessions, helping agents plan their DMs, designing posters… going on fam trips. Who wouldn’t love it!
Q - What’s your favourite part of our Star-ships?
A - I LOVE the balcony cabins. One of my favourite memories ever is propped up in my lovely comfy bed in my Balcony Suite, the Danube rolling by and the log fire channel crackling away on the TV. Bliss!
Q - Favorite itinerary/destination?
A - Melk Abbey blew me away. It’s on such a grand scale and the different themed rooms are absolutely fascinating.
Q - Top tips for travel agents in selling an Emerald Waterways river cruise?
We get compared a lot with Viking – familiarise yourself with the main differences. Tipping and suite sizes are just a couple of them! I may be bias, but our ships truly stand out from competitors on the rivers.
