Having made a successful debut back in 2007, the festival has grown considerably and is now renowned as one of the finest celebrations of its kind – both on the continent and worldwide. Organised under the EUROPAfest brand, this year’s instalment will see 15 jazz bands from all over the world heading to the city. Among the artists set to feature include the Zadeno Trio, Atom String Quartet and Monofunktional, representing Italy, Poland and Austria respectively.
Featuring in locations all over the city
Set to feature in the city from 16th-23rd May, the event will offer a host of performances in a variety of locations, including the Excelsior Theatre, Odeon Theatre and the Ibis Café. Organisers have promised a full week of concerts, workshops and jam sessions, with those attending able to experience jazz varieties from all over the world.
With the BBC ranking the Bucharest International Jazz Festival among the top three festivals of their kind in Europe, it’s a fantastic event to enjoy during your river cruise experience with us.
