It is hoped that the new portal will further advertise and display to potential visitors the extent of what the European country has to offer. While Romania already has several tourism sites, with the official Romania.travel website already serving the needs of visitors looking to see the real Romania, the new portal is expected to offer advice on a whole other level.
The portal is expected to contain information about local tourist areas and attractions and will be perfect for guests embarking on a river cruise holiday in 2015
who are looking to learn more about the area they are visiting before the set off.The essence of Romania
The current Romania.travel
website, looks to highlight the incredible offering of Romania and the many sights and attractions that await guests in this culture rich country. The site is the official website of the Romanian Tourist Authority who describe the words ‘authentic, natural and cultural’ as the verbs that best capture the essence of Romania as they offer downloadable brochures, main attraction information and even a trip planner.
While the current website acts as a great accompaniment for guests embarking on tours of Snagov Monastery and traditional farming communities as a part of deluxe European river cruises
, the all-new portal expected to go live in its complete form by the end of the year will provide extra information and detail.
The new portal will include a new tourism campaign that will aim to encourage more visitors to Romania through its beautiful landscape, culture and architecture. With more information on tourist circuits and videos as a part of the campaign, the new portal is sure to be unlike anything visitors to Romania have experienced before.
