Last chance to see Star Wars exhibition in France

Following its success in the French capital, the exhibition is now stopping in Lyon before continuing its journey in neighbouring European countries. Open until April 19th next year, visitors to the city on deluxe river cruises in Europe, will be able to enter the world of Star Wars during this unique opportunity.

The exhibition allows both fanatics and those that are simply curious to go behind the scenes and view more than 200 original artefacts, some of which have never been seen by the public before. Housed in a former sugar warehouse in the new la Confluence district, in between the Rhône and the Saône, it’s a great setting to witness the battle between the light and dark sides.

The ultimate Star Wars experience

Experiences will include shaking hands with R2D2, coming face to face with a real-life sized Chewbacca, and viewing a model of the iconic Millennium Falcon in all its glory. There’s also a huge collection of stunning costumes, models, props and artworks from the movies, to give a fascinating insight into the fictional adventures of Luke and Anakin Skywalker.

Not only this, but visitors will be invited to play a role-playing game at the Star Wars Identities exhibition, which will reveal their own personal Star Wars character’s identity. Visitors will find out whether they have the power to resist the dark side by answering a number of questions using a smart technology bracelet during the journey through the exhibition space.

Choose from creatures such as a Wookiee, Twi’lek or Ewok, and make decisions about life choices such as becoming a Jedi knight or bounty hunter. Then, on discovery of a chosen identity, the complete character profile can be shared on social media with friends.
